IT could be one of the reasons why the Goodlyfe Crew attended the copyright cocktail function last Wednesday at Serena Hotel, where Uganda Performing Right Society (UPRS), a body enforcing copyright laws and protecting music works, held an end of year party for artistes.

Although most artistes like Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, Iryn Namubiru, Juliana Kanyomozi and many others did not attend this important party for them, Radio and Weasel, who were so excited and attentive did attend.  The conversation among the guests and artistes was centred on the copyright law and its implementation.

However, word on the street is that, the duo singers have plagiarized other fellow artistes' music. Just as the 'Bread and Butter' xeroxing accusation settled down, the singers are at it again copying sensational Tanzanian female singer Saida Kalori’s Wachekecha song.

The Goodlyfe crew stole, the melody, tune and rhythm of Saida’s once popular song called 'Wachekekya Ngebinyobwa’ and turned it around to create their new song 'Lwaki Tonjagala,’ which was released last week.

Meanwhile, we have learnt that the fast-fading Tanzanian musician Saida, is likely to take the two members to the courts of law for piracy as she is the original composer of the song. Watch this!!!!!!!!
