CHOGM: Court summons Ministers Nasasira, Kutesa, Rukutana

Three Cabinet Ministers were on Wednesday summoned to appear before the Anti-corruption court over charges of abuse of office and causing financial loss to the Government.

Three Cabinet Minister have been summoned to appear before the Anti-corruption court over charges of abuse of office and causing financial loss to the Government.

Foreign Affairs minister, Sam Kuteesa, Government Chief Whip, Eng. John Nasasira and the Minister of State for Labour, Mwesigwa Rukutana are supposed to appear before the Court on October 13, 2011.

The charges brought by the Inspector General of Government stem from the activities of the Ministers during preparation for the Commonwealth of Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in 2005
