Ekiring, Africa’s top seed, arrived in the games village on Sunday. He will team up with Wilson Tukire, Shamim Bangi and Margaret Nankabirwa in Team Uganda’s assault to the medal bracket. Uganda needs to beat Seychelles and hosts Mozambique to top Group B which will put them in a bronze medal position as they will have reached the semi-final stage of the team action.
