National Insurance Corporation Limited (NIC) was yesterday reinstated on the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) after its suspension for failure to publish its year end results.
National Insurance Corporation Limited (NIC) was yesterday reinstated on the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) after its suspension for failure to publish its year end results.
A statement from both the insurer and USE confirmed the decision by the listing committee.
NIC published its audited accounts for 2010 on August 3, 2010, its half year interim results were published on September 1, 2011 and the corrected interim results were published on September 5, 2011.
Sam Njoroge, the NIC managing director welcomed the decision, saying NIC will endeavour to comply with all requirements.
NIC will hold its Annual General Meeting on 28th September.
