LOCAL soccer players will reap big from the KCC, Express and SC Villa sponsorship contract with Pioneer Easy Bus Company. The firm has promised the players jobs when the company buses resume operations in November.

This was revealed yesterday by the company executive director Fred Senoga during a press briefing at Bugolobi where the firm unveiled a three year sponsorship worth sh900m to super league clubs KCC, Express and Villa.

“Clubs will not only promote their players, matches on our buses but most important is that players will have the opportunity to get jobs when we start operations in November,” Senoga stated.

The three clubs will each receive sh300m for the next three years in a shirt sponsorship deal over the period.

Senoga added that the company will consider transporting soccer fans to the venues of their fixtures at a subsidised cost once they start their operations. “We are here to help develop sports in this country and there is a lot we will offer including transporting fans to various venues as a community contribution to the sports family, “Senoga added.

Kavuma Kabenge, on behalf of the three clubs, commended the company for the support.
