PREVIOUSLY a dependable figure in the Heathens squad, Scot Oluoch will as usual wear the same exceptional white shorts but in a G4S Pirates shirt as the Nile Special Rugby Uganda Cup semifinal start at Kampala Club today.

The robust Oluoch, at number 8, and lock Joel Anguyo a major signing from Kobs, enrich the Pirates team that will be up against Heathens.

Pirates, who had massive recruitment, have genuine optimism to to reclaim the title they lifted in 2007.

Heathens coach Brian Tabaruka will not be intimidated by a fine Pirates squad on paper.

“Pirates recruitment of star players is the least of our worries. We are well prepared for the game and have the right ammunition to get a result,” Tabaruka stated.

In a show of sportsmanship Tabaruka could afford to make charitable remark about Oluoch.

“Scot gave his best when he was with Heathens and we wish him well where he is. We are not going to play against specific individuals but the entire Pirates team,” Tabaruka remarked.

Pirates went into residential camp ahead of this game and should be able to put up a formidable challenge.

In the other semifinal, Entebbe Mongers coach Herbert Wafula will be up against his former team Kobs.
