-URA-Firemasters tie postponed due to rains
-Proline abscond

A Uganda Super League match was for the second time interrupted this time not because of the FUFA/USL politicking but as a result of natural causes.

The Fire Masters versus URA match at Wankulukuku kicked off but had to be called off after only three minutes with the flooded pitch proving unplayable.

The SuperSport live coverage stopped at that with their commentators lamenting the unavailability of better pitches across the country and the two-hour downpour that caused the abandonment.

At Lugogo, Proline did not show up for their second consecutive match against Masaka. However, fans wondered whether the current state of the Lugogo pitch would have enabled kick-off.

Apart from looking attractive from a distance, the lush green playing surface is at the moment overgrown and needs mowing before any game can take place. The perimeter fence is not in place while there were no nets attached to the goal posts.

The referees led by Yusuf Lwanga waited for over 30 minutes for Proline before talking to Masaka captain Tom Hiire and calling off the match.
