KOBS coach Fred Mudoola’s emphasis on the club’s tradition of enjoying the game should produce a display that deserves to be telecast on SuperSport International in the Nile Special Rugby Uganda Cup final against Pirates today.

Mudoola, whose tactical acumen has been hailed by many, heads to Jinja riding on the club’s pedigree and enthusiasm his squad has exhibited in a bid to retain the trophy.

“Kobs have 45 trophies and they (Pirates) have one. Kobs will just be Kobs—go out there with our winning attitude.

“We shall enjoy the game as usual and that’s how we have won our trophies or lost. Pirates went on massive shopping for players and they are quite strong but we will still go out to have fun,” Mudoola stated.

Mudoola declined to reveal his team but hinted at a possibility of unleashing new players in the final.

Lock Joel Anguyo will for the first time face his former side Kobs since he signed for Pirates three months ago.

Pirates will also count on new signings Sammy Wairu (forward), Kenya International Kelvin Omiyo (forward), Davis Kiwalabye (Scrum Half), Scot Oluoch (lock/8thman) and Frank Mulindwa (forward) as they seek to reclaim the trophy the won in 2007.
