By James Odong
THE Lango cultural leader, Mzee Yocam Odur, has assured the Acholi living in Lira and Apac districts of safety, following reports that the Langi were developing anti-Acholi feelings after attacks by the Lord’s Resistance Army rebels in the two districts.
“There is no single Langi who is going to raise his hands against the Acholi. We are historically linked and we have lived together for a long time,” he said at a meeting attended by Acholi and Lango MPs, opinion and civil leaders at St. Augustine Centre in Lira town on Friday. Ends
