UGANDA’S first fitness consultancy company has been launched with a call to local athletes to opt for scientific training in order to measure up to world standards.
“Uganda is endowed with vast sports talent but lacks proper nurturing of these resources,†noted Bob Enterprises proprietor Robert Ssebugwawo at the Sheraton hotel launch recently.
Ssebugwawo said his company would together with relevant ministries offer fitness training to sports bodies, schools, corporates, government departments and individuals.
“We have a keen interest in the corporates or middle class, said Ssebugwawo an economist who lives in the United States.
Instructors will include Kampala International Hospital physiotherapist Suzanne Rath.
Fitness, nutrition, wellness and preventive health advocacy are some of the key areas covered by the consultancy.
It works jointly with medicinal processors Unik Aloe Vera limited.
Aloe Vera managing director John Kamya said at the launch, “You either exercise or you are dead.â€
