KANUNGU district is to construct a water supply point at Kayungwe. According to a notice, the project will be funded under the district rural water supply and sanitation development conditional grant.

The district, therefore, seeks bidders to express their interests in various works of the project. The works involve building of a water transmission pipeline, distribution and service lines, construction of a concrete reservoir and a collection pipeline.

Others are construction of sedimentation tanks, 10 public stand taps, and institutional and private connections. Bidding will be conducted according to the Government’s open domestic bidding guidelines of 2003.

The deadline submission of bids is March 25.
