Diabetes worries MP
BUSHENYI-Sheema North MP Elioda Tumwesigye is concerned that many people are dying of chronic diseases, especially cancer, diabetes and hypertension. “The Ministry of Health is focusing more on infectious diseases but there are other diseases which are killing people silently and they need serious attention,” Tumwesigye said. He was addressing women leaders of Kabwohe town council. Tumwesigye said many women were dying under unclear circumstance and urged the ministry to do more research on chronic diseases.
