HOIMA

A burial in Kyesiga village, Hoima district, was disrupted when a dog fell into the empty grave.

As mourners carried the coffin to the grave after prayers, they found a dog in it.

Some residents demanded that the dog be buried in the same grave with the deceased claiming it was a bad omen for a dog to fall into a grave.

Others, however, wanted the dog to be rescued moved from the pit before the burial could take place.

They pulled out the dog and killed it before proceeding with the burial.
