MASINDI-There was drama in Pakanyi sub-county when two siblings descended on their father and beat him up over his money. The mzee reportedly sustained a fractured leg.

The sons, both married with children, only identified as Musa and Julius accused their father of being stringent with his money and refusing to give them.

It is reported that the old man had gone to Masindi town the previous day to pick his pension money. His sons expected that he would call them and give them part of it. They were, however, disappointed when he never gave them.

One of the neighbours said they were puzzled when they saw the man’s daughters-in-law cheering as the men kicked their father.
