Former local government minister and Progressive People’s Party president Jaberi Bidandi Ssali was by his son’s side when tragedy befell.

Forget the rumours of the two not exactly being close in the past. When news of Bebe Cool’s shooting in a scuffle with Police near Effendy’s Bar & Restaurant last weekend got out, Bidandi was the most shaken person.

From the corridors of Nsambya Hospital, we have heard that Bidandi has been at his best playing the good father.

From addressing the press, Bidandi put up a team of expert doctors, especially surgeons to make sure that his son gets the best treatment. Bidandi will also pay the doctors and clear all the hospital bills.
