Alintuma Nsambu wants a media empire

Last week, we told you about ICT state minister Alintuma Nsambu’s ambitious plan to bring in an American RnB superstar, Beyonce on Women’s Day at a whooping $500,000.

Nsambu has started a radio station, based in Masaka and transmitting on 100.7FM.

Apparently, the minister wants the station, which will broadcast in Luganda, to serve the people of Masaka.

That however, is not all. Nsambu has also imported TV equipment from France and is gearing up to launch a TV station on Channel 33 to be based at the same venue as the radio.

However, snoops say, unlike the radio, Nsambu wants the TV to broadcast internationally. Apparently, he has already installed fibre optics at the station for this purpose.

Murmurs from other corridors indicate that Nsambu’s real intention is to start up a media empire, which he will complete with a newspaper.
