  • It seems trouble always finds its way to singer and self-proclaimed ghetto president, Bobi Wine.

Mohammed Wasswa, a police officer attached to Makindye Division RDC Kayondo Mulowoza, is accusing the Mwesotinge singer of assaulting him last week.

Meanwhile, the defence secretary of Cont Africa Zone in Kamwokya, John Wesonga, has vowed to drag Wine to court for assaulting him on December 21, 2009.

Wesonga, who reported a case to Kira Road Police Station on file number SD42/21/12/2009 said he was moving past Dream Studio, when he saw the singer and his brother, Banjoman, beating upcoming singer, R. Eddy.

He said when he intervened, the duo allegedly pounced on him and beat him.
Wesonga wants to seek legal redress through Erias Lukwago.

However, Bobi Wine denies assaulting Wesonga but admits his boys beat up R. Eddy because he was found tearing down posters announcing the grand opening of his (Wine’s) Busaabala-based One Love Beach. Hmm.
