MISS WHO? Asiimwe

Barely days after being crowned Miss Uganda, sizzling news reaches us that Juliet Asiimwe Akankwasa may not be Ugandan after all. Scouts tell us that she is a Rwandan refugee and that her family moved here from Rwanda about 10 years ago.
She has a passion for Uganda Wa and has been in an up-and-down relationship with her long-term “boyfriend.” Most weekends, she barhops between Victoria Tavern and Mateos where she casually smokes and drinks away with her crew of equally foxy cronies. In a bid to appear Ugandan, she changed both her own and family name from Ishimwe to Asiimwe. More to come. Watch this space
