WOMAN TO WOMAN: Nakalema and Yamamoto

WOMAN TO WOMAN: Nakalema and Yamamoto

Scouts tell us all is not well in the Muyenga home of former President, Godfrey Binaisa. Apparently, a huge rift has developed between his daughter Nakalema and his Japanese wife, Tomoko Yamamoto. Word has it that Nakalema still wants to control every decision her father makes, including what he does or eats.
One such incident was when Yamamoto made Binaisa a Japanese dish for dinner. When Nakalema saw it, she lost all control of her senses and threw the food on the floor while barking at Yamamoto:
“How can you serve my father this Japanese food. He does not eat it!”
As the situation got out of hand between the two, tycoon Gordon Wavamunno, who was Binaisa’s bestman, was called in to mediate between the two. After the mediation talks that failed, Binaisa had no option but to banish Nakalema from his Muyenga house. Nakalema now lives in exile in Makindye.
