THE Vagina Monologues is vexed with New Vision cartoonist Mr Ras for implying in a cartoon that the Vagina Monologues (slated for 19th February at Ndere Centre) is a striptease Kimansulo
They say it is a performance with respectable women dressed decently in black and red, reading out parts of the monologue. There is no show of body parts whatsoever.

They say the play is to empower women, raise awareness and funds for anti-violence groups like Kitgum Women’s Peace Initiative, Lira Women’s Peace Initiative, and Pader Christian Counselling Fellowship.
