Kibuye based Club Imbecap launched a new theme night dubbed Afro Nite last Friday. The event saw ecstatic revellers dancing when Bobi Wine performed his Nalumansi, Wendi and Mwana wa Bandi hits.

Earlier, his “Vice President” Buchaman had taken the stage by storm and thrilled crowds with a medley of his popular songs. Nubian Li, Fina Mugerwa, Boyz in September, Big No among others entertained the crowds who screamed wildly with their hands in the air like Easter had come early.

Straka Mwezi and two other MCs made sure the function that kicked off at 12.30 a.m. had no glitches save for the many artistes who were announced, but didn’t show up, talk about marketing gimmicks.
The MCs also dished out Life Guard merchandise.

Straka said the night would be held every Friday to help upcoming artistes blend with established ones and give them a platform for exposure.
