I sit at work all day and have no time to exercise. Are there any desk exercises I can engage in?
SITTING at your desk all day can be quite limiting. However, if you are comfortable doing squats, dips and hammer jug curls (bicep exercises) while at your desk, you can squeeze in brief workouts.
These can be done using your body weight, resistance bands, a low height desk and two water jugs. If you are not able to do the above at work, there is not much that can be done besides stretching or engaging in yoga.
I recommend that you take at least 15 to 20 minutes to exercise during your lunch break. You could initiate a wellness programme at your workplace.
Start a stairs challenge with your colleagues. This could be fun, but most importantly, you will be getting healthy and fit as a team.
Working out promotes good health, which in turn promotes good business.
