FUFA lining U-20 team for Yemen trip
SOCCER - Domestic soccer governing body FUFA has written to their Yemeni counterparts showing interest have the national U-20 team the Hippos tour the Middle East country. FUFA is planning to to field the team for the 2012 Olympic qualifiers. At the recent CECAFA U-20 event in Eritrea which Hippos won, Yemen Football Federation officials expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Kampala side.

SCRABBLE - Top seed Edwin Mugisha completed qualifiers for the Pan African Scrabble Association championships in Jinja at the weekend with an unbeaten run. Mugisha and the other top five players in Jinja will go for the Africa meet slated for Ghana in November.
