Namboole wasted
EDITOR - When I looked at the playing surface of Mandela National Stadium recently, I felt like crying. The surface is in such poor state. I won’t be surprised if the music show that took place there at the beginning of March, was responsible for messing up the ground. Was Namboole built for sports activities or musical galas. I want to believe that it is the former. But in any case if the management of the stadium choose to hire it out for other functions other than sport, there should be mitigating factors in place to avoid extensive damage.

UBC should explain the recorded games
EDITOR - Why does UBC TV show us recorded English Premier League matches on Saturday evening instead of giving them to us live? So goes the expected explanation: “We have more important programmes to screen at that time or we only have rights to show recorded matches and not live ones!†I am waiting for an explanation and hopefully it will be genuine.
