Inaugral junior netball flops
NETBALL - The inaugural junior netball championship that was scheduled for March 19-20 at Hawa SS in Wakiso flopped after schools failed to show up leaving only the umpires on the pitch.
The two-day tournament was previously scheduled to take place at Bishop Kiwanuka Nakalema in Mpigi but later had its venue changed to Hawa SS at the last minute.

SOCCER - OLD Kampala SS secured the first ticket to the COPA Coca-Cola Cup after whipping City High School 8-0 on Friday. Lubega Kamanda opened the goal feast after 15 minutes before Rashid Ayub grabbed a hat trick. Andrew Gutera added two goals before keeper Emmanuel Akol completed the rout with a penalty.
