BOMBO schools are out to successfully defend their titles at the fourth edition of the National Primary handball championship.
The event will be held at Ndejje University today .
The Bombo schools dominated the 2009 competition taking the the boy’s and girl’s crowns.
Bombo Barracks Primary School snatched the boy’s crown while Bombo Mixed Primary School took the girl’s crown with little trouble last year.
In the boy’s category, Bombo Barracks beat Bombo Mixed 13-8.
But Bombo Mixed girl’s team took charge to register a 17-11 victory over Namaliga COU in the final.
Organisers explained in Kampala yesterday that action in both events will start at 9am.
The defending champions are up against several other teams in the battle for honours.
The teams include Namaliga COU who have vowed to make up for last year’s defeat and Tiike primary school.
