MTN Heathens look good for a 10th straight win in the Nile Special Premier Rugby League when they take on Hima Impis at Kyadondo today.

Heathens will enjoy the benefit of playing Impis twice at Kyadondo because of a recent strike at Makerere University.

Heathens’ assistant coach Brian Tabaruka, in full charge in of the team in the absence of head coach Peter Magona who is out of the country, warned about the resistance expected from Impis.

“They gave us a hard time in the first round probably because of laxity, an issue we have worked upon,” Tabaruka stated.

“Impis play some good rugby and we will take them seriously.

“We are going to it give best shot.”

League top scorer Jude Keremundu (knee injury) will miss today’s match that will kick off at 3pm to allow Heathens to attend the USPA Gala where they are nominees for the Sports Personality of the Year award.

Tabaruka noted that all rival teams are out to halt their unbeaten run but they would work hard to keep a clean sheet.

At the same time, Toyota Buffaloes will host uganda telecom Kobs at Kyadondo while Rhinos are up against G4S Pirates in the Kampala Club derby.

Rhinos upset Entebbe Mongers last week.
