HANA Secondary School will host the inaugural junior netball championships starting tomorrow in Wakiso. The two-day event that ends on Saturday is open to all primary and secondary schools countrywide.

Uganda Netball Federation secretary Annet Kisomoso said the event is part of the federation’s efforts to have the youngsters involved in the federation’s annual programme.

“We are looking forward to increasing the participation of the youth especially the teenagers in netball. That’s why we have organised and included this event in our calendar”, Kisomoso said.

A total of 15 schools have already confirmed participation.
