IT was third time lucky for Mbale teacher Teddy Nabukwasi on Sunday as she won herself a fully furnished apartment in the ongoing MTN World Cup Goal of Goals promotion.
“I am so excited and happy because I won this house. I thank MTN for this wonderful opportunity,†she told The New Vision yesterday.
Nabukwasi, 35, is a mother of two and resident of Nakaloke in Mbale.
She teaches Literacy and English at Patto Primary School and becomes the first woman to win in the weekly draw that has entered its fourth week. It is conducted live on television.
Other prizes won during Sunday’s draw included three refrigerators, one home theatre system and one plasma flat screen TV.
Nabukwasi joins Amon Turyasingura of Nateete, a Kampala suburb and Godfrey Matege of Magamaga, Kamuli district among the winners in the Goal of Goals promotion.
With three houses gone, there are only nine more left at the World Cup village in Namungoona, ahead of the World Cup in South Africa in June, the first on the continent.
