TOYOTA Buffaloes should expect no favours when they come up against their ‘big brothers’ MTN Heathens in the Nile Special Premier Rugby League in the Kyadondo derby today.
Runner-away table leaders Heathens, looking to extend their winning streak to nine games, have warned that they will not handle basement side Buffaloes with kids gloves.
“We are from the same family but will not see them as our brothers. We shall take them on as opponents in front of us. They always give their best against us because they want to prove a point,†Heathens assistant coach Brian Tabaruka stated.
Tabaruka and head coach Peter Magona who never leave nothing to chance, will miss the services of league top scorer Jude Keremundu who is out with a thy injury.
“We shall unleash the rest of the squad. We take Buffaloes like any other team and will field a full strength side available. We want to kill off the game early,†Tabaruka said.
With Heathens already in bullish mood Buffaloes seem destined for a ninth defeat. Mongers, coming off a defeat to Rhinos last weekend, hope to make good when they host Hima Impis in Entebbe.
Second placed G4S Pirates who are a hefty nine points behind leaders Heathens should be able to register a routine win over Nile at Kampala Club. The uganda telecom Kobs will take on Rhinos in the second game at Kampala Club.
