AFTER over two months of international engagements and electioneering, cricket action is back with the season opening Luswata Cup on Sunday.

Defending champions Tornado will however wait until next week to launch their title defence in the event that was not held last year.

Former cup holders Wanderers will take on KICC in one of four matches on Sunday. The first round ends next week ahead of the final.

In another development, Cricket Without Boundaries group from England started holding coaching sessions in Fort Portal on Wednesday as they continue providing modern skills across the country.

They begun with a session for primary schools in the morning. In the afternoon, the officials embarked on a similar schedule for post primary schools.

The volunteers started their programme in eastern Uganda last week.
