THE Makerere University inter-hall sports season resumes February 14 after a short break. The second semester will have the nine halls competing in basketball, rugby, cricket, hockey, cross country, track and field, swimming, table tennis, badminton, squash, and cycling.

Reigning champions, Livingstone, is bound to face a stiff challenge from revered sides like University Hall and Lumumba while Mary Stuart have stood the test of time as they have continued to dominate the ladies category.

The inter-hall program has helped the institution produce award-winning individuals in different categories.

The university is also preparing for the East Africa university cross country due at Mbarara University February 27.
