  • Workshop on Anti-doping set
    - The ministry of Education and Sports and the Africa Regional Anti- doping Agency have joined organised a four-day workshop started at Mandela National stadium in Namboole today. According to the commissioner for sports Dan Tamwesigire, the will focus on the Anti-doping project the ministry of education is planning to set up in the country in collaboration with the world Anti-doping Agency. The workshop ends on Thursday.

    FUFA has called off earlier plans to start residential training for the U-20 women’s soccer team because of financial difficulties. The team will instead continue non residential sessions under coach Majida Nantanda at Kavumba recreation centre in Wakiso district. The team will face Zambia on December 5.
