NATIONAL Insurance Cooperation (NIC) were crowned champions after smashing Posta 32-17 at Nakivubo during the weekend.

The champions capped the season by winning all their 12 league fixtures.
Sarah Nakitende and Prossy Nabbosa netted NIC’s 32 goals between them as the champions flattened Posta at the weekend.

In the other women’s game, Prisons who were joint second with UPDF at 16 points going into the match, beat the army side 48-37 to clinch second place.

Florence Amon and Halima Nakacwa lifted Prisons to a 69-13 victory over Kamwokya based TLC while UPDF beat Kampala City Council (KCC) 48-37 to grab third place. Prisons won the men’s championship.
