STATE sports minister Charles Bakkabulindi plans to create regulations for Ugandan sport for arbitration to prevent court action.Bakkabulindi was reacting to the several sports related cases that are fast finding their way in the courts of law.

“It is just that we have delayed putting into place the regulations and statutory instruments that should come with the operationalism of the new Sports Act,” said Bakkabulindi yesterday.

“It is in this that we would have regulations of stopping all sports related matters being taken to court.”

He said that among the regulations his ministry will propose is one that will cause the formation of an arbitration court to settle sports disputes.
