INTERNATIONAL kit manufacturers Puma, will, for the third time in a row, dress the national athletics team to the world athletics championships, that start August 14 in Berlin, Germany.

Norman Katende reports that the German sports attire firm has also supported the team during Helsinki 2005 and Osaka 2007 events.

Local athletics federation secretary Beatrice Ayikoru confirmed the development.

“The contract is on. They will provide the team with running and warm-up kits, track suits, T-shirts and competition bags,” said Ayikoru yesterday.

Puma has also dressed the teams to the world cross country, junior and youth championships. They also dressed the university team to the world games in Serbia and the Beijing Olympic Games.
