THE Coca Cola schools soccer tournament was marred by violence yesterday. Referee Peter Kutegana was beaten and admitted at Jinja Hospital.

Kutegana was beaten by irate fans, protesting the validity of Titus Lubega’s goal that put Old Kampala ahead in the 69th minute.

Jinja SS captain Denis Magumba confronted the referee and was later joined by uncontrollable fans.
