K. Ouma v S. Powell

KASSIM Ouma has resumed his campaign to highlight the plight of children in northern Uganda.

The former child soldier will again step into the ring at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Saturday with the GuluWalk logo emblazoned on his trunks and robes. He first wore the logo in a fight in January.

Ouma takes on undefeated American Sechew Powell in a fight where victory will put him in line for a possible world title fight
GuluWalk is a Canadian-led initiative to help raise awareness about the ordeal of the ‘night commuters’ of northern Uganda.

“We all have a role to play in the future of these children,” Ouma (top) said.
