Over 70 companies have confirmed participation in this year’s annual banking, finance and insurance expo.

The exhibition is scheduled for March 25-27 at the Uganda Manufacturers Association main exhibition hall in Lugogo, Kampala.

Royal Way Media, a local public relations and marketing consultancy firm, is organising the event.

“We are happy to note that over 70 companies have already booked their exhibition spaces.

“This means that players in the banking and insurance industry have the zeal to deepen public understanding of these sectors,” David Ssempala, the Royal Way Media chief executive officer, explained.

He was addressing a press conference on Tuesday at Serena Hotel Kampala to brief the expo stakeholders and the nationals about the progress in terms of preparations of the event.
The expo serves as a plat form for companies to showcase before the public the unique products at their disposal, reach out to more customers and helps them to enhance firm to firm relationships.
Ssempala added that the expo intends to increase penetration of the financial services industry into the public and help customers to make informed decisions as to why they should choose to transact business with particular financial institutions instead of the others. The expo will also feature numerous speakers with vast knowledge of the financial industry among whom will be the Bank of Uganda Governor Tumusiime Mutebile.
Compuscan are the event’s lead sponsors in conjunction with Vision Group, G4S (private security firm), Kenya Commercial Bank, NTV, Uganda Insurers Association among others.
