EDITOR—It is very unfortunate and barbaric for the “Ganda group” to pelt stones at UPC’s party president Olara Otunnu. We should learn to forgive and forget the past.

Kabaka Mwanga II killed the martyrs and although many people were hurt, we do not keep it fresh in our minds and continue blaming Baganda.

How will we realise the East African Federation and the idea of a global village if we cannot be at peace within our own nation?
