EDITORâ€â€The destruction of Kasubi tombs has hurt everybody deeply. Everybody is heartbroken and this has led to havoc in Kasubi. I appeal to all Ugandans not to engage in activities likely to cause instability and bloodshed in the country.
We should stop fingure-pointing because nobody is sure of what actually caused the fire. It is wise to give the Police an opportunity to investigate the matter and come up with a report. Trying to cause an environment of instability is unreasonable and may lead to loss of innocent lives. Let us be considerate and calm over this situation and let the law take its course. We must avoid a repeat of September 2009 bloodshed that left many dead and others implicated, including innocent people. Let us seek peace and and give our country a chance.
We must not go back to our past but look forward to a better Uganda. If we call our nation the pride of Africa, then we should demonstrate to the world that we are a peaceful people.
