EDITOR—It is an honour for Africa to be in the spotlight for a matter that does not involve war, politics and hunger! But much as it is good for us it is also not so good to the visitors and fans who will be storming South Africa in the next few months.

South Africa is reported to have the world’s largest number of AIDS patients and a high number of sex workers. those coming to South Africa for the 2010 World cup would do well to remember those two issues or the world will be worse for wear. I am not a prophet of doom but the truth will set us free.
