MASAKA - Residents of Kirumba A near the district headquarters were on Tuesday shocked to find a woman, who had gone to till her daughter’s garden, electrocuted.


Hawa Namata, a resident of Kasijjagirwa village, touched an electric wire which had fallen down on Monday night. Namata was digging in Annet Sekiwunga’s garden with another resident, Aggrey Mutebi, who saw the wire.

“I suspected that there was power on the wire which was hanging on a cassava plant and I advised her to vacate the place but she did not listen,” Mutebi said.
