ABOUT 20 passports and more than 10 mobile phones are some of the recovered property kept at the Uganda Taxi Operators and Drivers Association (UTODA) offices.

According to Hajji Musa Lukwago, the chief claims officer, the items have been at the offices for about one-and-half years.

“We have so many items here and at our district offices across the country.”

Some passports are for foreign countries like Kenya, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, he said. Other items include driving permits and identity cards.
