  • THE rate at which married people are divorcing is worrying the archbishop of Uganda, reports Chris Ahimbisibwe.

Henry Luke Orombi blamed the breakage of families on men, saying many of them were committing adultery.

“It’s unfortunate. Many couples wed but after three years, they divorce.”

Quoting a Saturday Vision story, Orombi people criticised the people who use Kampala hotels for adulterous activities during lunch time.

Adultery was responsible for the many number of couples contracting HIV/AIDS, he noted.

The bishop was on Thursday preaching at Masheruka archdeaconry Sheema, Bushenyi district.
