THE French government has donated euros 150,000 (sh430m) to the World Vision to support the reintegration of former LRA child soldiers in Amuru district.

The programme, which is expected to cost euros 168,000 (sh480m), will be co-financed by the World Vision in Uganda and Switzerland. A grant agreement was last Thursday signed by ambassador René Forceville and the World Vision country director, Lawrence Tiyoy.

A total of 250 formerly abducted children will be trained in bricklaying, tailoring, hairdressing and small business management over a period of 18 months.
