The Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) has appealed to its members who joined other political parties to return to the party.
Presidential candidate Miria Kalule Obote on Tuesday said the members who strayed should stop supporting the political “homes†where they merely take shelter.
She was addressing a rally at Bududa playground, Manjiya county in Manafwa district.
Present were UPC national chairman Hajji Badru Wegulo and former minister for works during the Obote II regime, Abner Washarula Nangwale.
Miria said the party was committed to lifting the standard of women.
