THE inter-clan cattle raids between the Dodoth and Jie Karimojong warriors in Kotido district has worsened and needs urgent intervention from the Government, the district chairperson has said.

Briefing officials from the Office of the Prime Minister and United Nations Development programme on Tuesday at his office in Kotido town, Callistus Adome Lokwii said there were rampant raids and killings between these two clans.

“We need immediate intervention from government. The Jie and Dodoth are killing each other daily. We want this to stop,” Adome said.
