NAADS to investigate Lira
LIRA - The state minister for agriculture, Aggrey Bagiire, has directed the National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) secretariat to investigate the district over poor performance of the programme. He issued the directive following a monitoring and evaluation report that ranked Lira the worst performing district in the country.

SACCOs told to charge less
GULU - The managers of savings and credit co-operative societies (SACCOs) in northern Uganda have been warned against charging high interest rates to their clients. Francis Opiyo, a SACCOs field officer gave the warning during a meeting of board members from Acholi, Lango, Bunyoro and West Nile at Diana Gardens in Gulu last week.
