  • One killed, 18 cattle grabbed
    OTUKE-William Ecebo was shot dead and his 18 head of cattle stolen when four suspected Karimojong warriors attacked Ogom village in Olilim sub-county on Wednesday. The incident left residents, who had just returned from the internally displaced people’s camps, in panic, according to the LC3 chairman, George Kamara Oyang. Kamara said the Police pursued the warriors and recovered 16 head of cattle.

    ‘Disband NGO officials’
    ARUA-Civil Society Organisations have demanded the disbandment of officials of a local NGO, Network Secretariat, saying their term of office expired. In a letter of March 3, the CSOs said according to their constitution, the officials’ term expired on December 9, last year.
